Principal's Address

FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL, SCHOOL OF DISCIPLES

GENERAL OVERSEER, THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD

I must congratulate you for being among those whom the Lord had decided to draw closer to Himself through the Discipleship training.  The love of God for you is immeasurable.  Glory be to God.

During the course of your study, you have learned how important you are to God how much he loves you.  This made Him to die on the Cross of Calvary that you may be delivered from the bondage of sin and slavery of Satan.  You know about the agony of crucifixion and how he suffered and died on the Cross of Calvary for you sake.

As a trained Disciple, the Lord would be expecting much from you.  The Bible says in Luke 11:19, that to whom much is given much is expected.

The first thin the Lord would be expecting is that you must live the rest of your life for him and Him only.  You must present your body a living sacrifice and live everyday as if it is your last.  The Bible says in 1 Peter 1:15-16, “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy.”

Secondly, you must be totally obedient to God in all things.  In 1 Samuel 15:22: the Bible says, “And Samuel said Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offering and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord?  Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”  Saul found it difficult to obey what Samuel, the man of God said.  And he ended up a lunatic and that was not the plan of God for him.  The young prophet in 1 Kings 13:1-24; died a terrible death because he could not do exactly what God wanted him to do.  One of the secrets why God keep on supporting this mission is simple obedience to all Hiss commands.

Thirdly, you must be a profitable disciple of the Master.  In Mark 3:13-15, the Bible says:  “And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came into him.  And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, and to have power to heal sickness, and to cast out devils: and in John 15:16, the Lord says “Ye have not chose me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

The purpose why god decided to have disciples is that He could send them forth to preach.  Your own case is even more explicit, because you graduated when He has given us the task of winning 50 million souls.  Any disciple who is not a soul winner is not profitable to the Master.  Therefore, as soon as you leave here it becomes mandatory to win souls for the Lord.

Finally, you must have a focus.  And your focus must be heaven.  According to John 14:1-3, Rev. 19:7 and Rev.22:12 our Lord and Saviour is coming back to take us home, marry us and then reward us for whatever we have done for Him while on earth.  Brethren what shall we say if after all said and done, we are not raptured with Him.  If you know anything that will disqualify you, please do away with it now.

I want to congratulate you once more, that at last, you have successfully gone through this course, but one day you will finish the final course.  When the trumpet shall sound, it is my prayer that you would not be found wanting.  You will be ready to go.  It can be today.  It can be tomorrow.  Nobody knows the time, but is cannot be long again.  Be prepared.  Be ready.  I will see you there in Jesus’ name.  Amen!
